I started with cutting the aluminum factory one. For the front built a new one using an F150 driveshaft.

A couple of months later I switched to completely custom Tom Woods driveshafts front and back.

Anyone with the 5.4... Can i get a measurement from the front strap to the tcase? I will be shortening my tank soon but probably before the tranny shop can get me in. Want to take as little off as possible.

Which transmission do you have? I think 5.4 + 4r70 should not need tank shortened.

Newer 5.4 E250 and all 5.4 E350 have 4r100 I think. You should not need to cut your tank.

Got it. So you didn't need to shorten your tank? Was a while ago but i though MG said I'd need to shorten.... Fantastic if I don't need to. How much space do you have between the tank and the tcase?

I put in a ujoint tank based on some bad advice. So I can’t measure for you. But there is a mile between my t-case and the tank. I’m pretty seriously thinking about putting my stock tank back in.

Anyone in CA how did you deal with the cats and smog. I have 4 cats and the driverside needs to swap to pass to clear the tcase and front driveshaft i believe.

Garage
My Tcase is pretty much butted up right against the tank. Not much wiggle room at all 2014 e350 no cut but almost rubs.

Hey guys and girls, I am finally getting ready to install the MG kit on a 2019 E350 turtle van. I have been collecting parts for two years now, and I think I have almost everything. I have read through this entire post and all the directions several times, but I cannot find directions on installing the coil spring mounts to the frame. Will somebody post pictures of them on the frame please.
