I bought my 2006 SMB E350 new from SMB west. In 2006 both the SMB and Quigley 4x4 systems were still offered. In talking with Alan at that time the front axles in the SMB conversion were all Dynatrac, and the standard rear axle at that time was a Ford semi-floating axle. I took the option for the Dynatrac rear axle as well to get a full-floating axle. Mine came with OME shocks and springs all around.

In 2008 the front end was upgraded to include larger F550 brakes.

Yes, you are correct, I meant to say STARTING in ‘03/‘04….Edited above
