Well, my travel partner to Tuk has cancelled. I would like to put a few more miles on the van before going solo. Plus with Aug heat projections from what I understand and fires, looks like I am not going to Tuk.

I don't have a Going to the Sun Rd permit now required May 26 to Sep 10 and it looks booked all of Aug except 2 days. Tomorrow is not available, but Jul 30 is. We'll see.

I’ll be headed North in about two weeks if you want to join up and I might be talked into going to Tuk…

Forgive me for lack of traveling info - but - where is Tuk ? What's there ? Appreciate any info ! By chance do you mean "Tok" - as in Tok Junction in Alaska ?? I've been thru there many times --

If I understand this right, you plan to spend about 2 weeks north and get back for a race in NV Sep 1st. I'll send a PM.

I am retired as well, but want to be back to VA by Oct 1st. I am totally flexible, but hate heat especially while traveling.
