I replaced the outlet by my sink and installed a combination 110V/USB outlet wired to the GFI outlet on my inverter-charger.

Penthouse 3rd brake light replacement Yesterday received a new light and installed it to replace the stock SMB one. Real nice, https://www.amazon.com/Partsam-Water...7C26HGHYVFF0YM . Says not available, just ordered mine 10 days ago. It covers the SMB cut out all around. 12 leds. Way more visible.

Nope, gas cap secure and door closed. By the time I got home, I figured out it was the cover to the 30Amp shore power plug-in slamming from the bow wave of the trucks.

Not a sexy project, but the cover snaps closed and a big sense of accomplishment for me. Plus, the plugs were looking pretty nasty.
That style plug (square door?) the SMB used for a long time, maybe still, is well known to die and often short things out, risk fire, etc. It hasn't been discussed in awhile. Glad you replaced yours. It's one of a few things every late model SMB purchased needs.

Yes, 86Scotty, it has the square door. I'm glad it's replaced.

wltrmtty, I've got a 2001 with the square door as well. What replacement did you go with and would you recommend it? Thanks

If you are going to replace the 30 Amp Electrical inlet then the best choice would be to go with a SmartPlug

This is more of a "what did I do this week" than today, but I think it still counts

I removed the bench seat and added a single captains chair on Thursday

Today I built a new bed for the kiddo/co-pilot if we are driving overnight :-) -- She now seats three and sleeps three :-)

and last week I got her back from getting a shiny new turbo built by BD Diesel Performance

Swapped out my old faded and crazed headlights with some nice clear ones.
