Yeah looking great.

I'd love a CNC machine, next to my 3d printer.

TufPort Upholstery and LED ceiling light bars done! Here is the before and after...

And some more shots of the final look...

We used spray adhesive to wrap the side panels with foam and then wrapped that with marine waterproof canvas and stapled the sides. We ended up having to use a glue gun to keep the fabric wrapped around the thin panels. Staples would have just poked through.

The ceiling was wrapped the same way but with marine grade leather look vinyl. I assembled the LED strips into light bars with an aluminum housing and diffuser, then wired the whole thing up. These ceiling panels were bolted to threaded inserts installed in the wood backed supports of the fiberglass roof. All in all it was a gigantic PITA but the results look pretty good imo. It also took us a whole week to get this done. Everything just takes way more time than expected!

It's all coming together! I'm sure it's a good feeling to be putting in finished panels.

Thanks marret and aarcaris!

Yeah it's pretty exciting to finally look at the van in the driveway and not just be overwhelmed by the amount of work left. The kitchen galley is going in this weekend and I have everything ready to wire up the main electrical system.

We really need to hit the road. I'm tired of the garage, tools, problem solving, sweating, learning new things haha I just want to ride MTBs and have a few cold drinks in new locations!

I admire the commitment. I saw in 225’s thread that you’ve been at it 13 months. That’s a grind. It’s paying off though. Looks great!

What is the countertop material? Did you stain it yourself?

Also what is the blue on the interior of the uppers and above the fridge?

Thanks man! Yeah I just really suck at this stuff so everything has to be redone at least once, sometimes twice

The countertop is a piece of Ash countertop that I cut and stained and then clear coated with poly. The blue inside the cabinets and the kitchen panels are just sanded and painted baltic birch. The paint isn't going to hold up very well but I like the look at least.
