Re: Swiss van for the time in the US

I wonder why Andrew left his van at our place with almost no diesel in it????? The best way to keep batts charged is to take a vehicle out for some serious off-road shenanigans. Alas, I guess I'll just have to put a trickle charger on it now and then. Andrew, I thought about washing the van off for you, but there's this giant horse turd on your front bumper (a spectacular shot by the horse, by the way) that gives your van a little savoir faire.

As I finally got back, here are the latest progress.

Okay Andrew, now I'm confused. Are you from Oregon and just working in Switzerland, or are you from Switzerland and just visiting Oregon? If it's the latter, you win the dice clock at the Valley of Fire Meet and Greet for coming the greatest distance.

Mac, I am swiss, living there and bought a van to visit the States before taking it back to Switzerland in an unspecified amount of months
The van is now based in Oregon.

For the greatest distance at the M&G please count driven miles to join, flying doesn't count.
See you there

Re: Swiss van for the time in the US

Changed my bumpers after sand blasting and powder coating them

Upgraded my fuel vent to prevent dust and water to go in and I hope improve filling the tank.

Removed the spring and floater in the vent, connected a hose to the front and back vent and connected them all together to the filler vent.

Sorry no other picture, next time I take it down will take more picts, maybe next week to cut a big hole in the van floor...
