Day Night Shade Removal

Hi, The string finally broke on the day/night shade that is behind my fridge. It is probably the hardest window to get to. I have had to remove and restring other shades in my van over the years, but I cannot get the shade behind the fridge removed. I thought I was doing it right, but obviously not. Can someone please tell me the best way to remove this shade from the clips without hulk smashing it into pieces!?! Thanks in advance!!

We haven't done that one (yet) but R&R the one on the other side was much easier by working from the front and through the open side window to get to the rear. Hope this helps.

Thanks BigRiver. I can get to the rear of this one, but the front of the top of the shade that houses the spring is right against the upholstery. The window on that side is also the fancy Lawrence (sp) one that only half opens at the bottom.

I feel like I need to push it forward and then rotate it down and out. Again it is right against the upholstery so I can't move it forward. Was hoping there might be another way. Thx, again.
