Does your horn work? Check the fuses?

Splice the same circuit I did...see if that works

yes the horn works. I checked the break sensors continuity and it is in the always on state with out being connected to the actual break line, so no need to spice here. I replaced the clock spring and steering wheel so no custom work needed here. have not gone through every fuse but from what I can tell its fuse 36 that handles the steering column and radio which works. So that appears to be good.

are you talking about splicing something else?

the pressure switch on the brake master. mine didnt have the port so I just jumped it out with a splice. that was my last hurdle before it started working....also pressing ON doesnt make the indicator light up...you press on then the set accel button turns the dash indicator on.

ok just took her for a run got up to 45, pressed the cruise on then set no light or engagement. So looks like I am going to have to get the computer checked.

So bad news, After all the research and new clock spring, sensor and steering wheel I went to a diesel mechanic with a ford computer. My pcm does not have the option to turn on cruise control. So now my only option is to find a new pcm with cruise control. On the up side they did change my axle gear ratio to the 4.10 from 3.55 to match the post 4x4 conversion gearing and did not charge me for checking and updating.

Wow that sucks. But super helpful info for the rest of us. I'll definitely check my PCM on a Ford computer before trying the other steps.
