First time using the Porta Potty

We've had this happen as well. Sometime I'll put holding tank deodorizer in the grey tank, and that really works to keep the smell away.

The porta-potty that came with my van would smell after a few days of using it. I don't know if it had a small leak or what (there wasn't any noticeable spillage), but without fail, it would start to smell of urine. Since we replaced that one with the Curve, we haven't had a hint of odor problems.

Does your p-trap not adequately hold water? You shouldn't be getting odor inside from your gray tank...
