Trasharoo alternatives?
Hey billwilson, you beat me to it, I have that same JoyTutus gear bag ordered up from Amazon, I’ve only had it mounted up since this past summer too, but it’s still looking good and the price is right at $50.
I had purchased and mounted an Overland Gear Guy bag, super quality coated material, but it’s just too small, I’m going to mount it up on our Jeep one of these days.
The other problem, really with all of them, is that the strap webbing stretches out when they get wet and the bag shifts down and sags from the weight, like a wet diaper!
The solution to this that helps a ton, thanks to ArcticTraveler pointing this out to me the last time we met up, is to wrap a strap or strong rubber bungee around the back side webbing to bunch it up tightly around the tire swing post if possible, taking up the extra slack.
