VW bus fun

Not Sportsmobile I know, but more fun that a barrel of monkeys. I've done this nutty trip 3 times as 'The designated wheelman'

2WD w/ open differential and 6" lift. No 4x4 so momentum was my friend. Skinny pedal down and went for it!

Here's a tip: The SST is in February. We always pre-attach a tow strap, rope, whatever to a strong anchor and wrapped, zip tied, it to the bumper, as a precaution. If you stall, get stuck, it's still a PITA as you still have to wade out in the cold water, and recover, but at least you don't have to 'dive under' to attach a recovery strap

Nice thread!

Haven't driven deepest that top on front bumper, it's too dangerous to suck water in airbox intake...

Take care to stop the air compressor to avoid it to suck watter. ;-)
