Ha, I am using that money to fixup the rear AC system! Marjie want's AC for the dogs, she doesn't care about wheels! If you talk to her the van already has wheels!

heres your valid argument for "new" wheels. whether new or used, wheels with access holes in them can help aid in getting unstuck
while I agree the ac has gotta work, its not gonna help get you out of a stuck.

The paint job on those wheels looks real nice, I need to do that too.
That playing card trick is a really good idea.
What type of ac system? I would think any option is really expensive.
That is a neat trick with the jack and a great reason to get different wheels.

I have an old Danhard rear AC that SMB used to install. I am getting new hoses made and will have a local mechanic evacuate and fill the system with freon.

Okay, it was yesterday, and it wasn't a DIY.
I got my track bar bushings replaced (and bolts tightened on the pitman arm) at Auburn Car Repair and Offroad to tighten up the steering.

Leaf spring shackle failure
Tire shop rotated my tires. The next day something was making noise. Had to replace the hanger shackles on both sides. The passenger side must have made a hell of a loud bang when it broke loose. Yes the shop didn't mention it. I don't blame them, the other side was ready to go as well.

Hmm, what haven't I done in the last few days....
Installed new axle seals, ujoints, ball joints, dust seals. Went to have it aligned, they said it didnt need it, but had 0deg tow. So added 1/8th in tow.
Changed oil, cleaned air filter, built new galley, installed lock box, got new side window prepped for install, removed ceiling fan cowel, installed 12v fan for inverter, packed food for trip, installed new induction stove, along with the propane backup one... I'm sure there's more, but gotta get back to it.

Shenrie, that playing card trick is genius. I've wasted a lot of tape! I bet one deck of cards will last me the rest of my life........maybe. Thanks for the tip.
