And BTW, do you now find coyotes and wolves find you more attractive?
According to their website it does everything but solve marital woes. Their instructions are to remove any loose flaking rust first and it'll soak in. Time will tell I guess.

And my beagle loves the stuff!
On my last 4x4 run, CellularSteve asked how I keep the Aluminess bumpers looking new. The stuff works better than wax on black powder coating.

I used Black Again, which required a fair amount of rubbing in, but it worked great. You did have to be careful walking on the bumper afterward..

[EDIT: I should mention that Black Again is also great on all colors of plastic, and also on rubber trim.]

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Been a busy few weeks with the SMB, as we're planning a month-long trip out west mid-June to mid-July.

1. Installed tilt-out windows on the rear doors and side barn "40" door.
2. Redid headliner in cab area, installed Reflectix and insulation, pre-ran wires for CB and drop-down video player (future).
3. Found a step bumper at the junkyard last weekend and installed it. I love it! Makes getting in and out so much easier, and nice to have the extra top step when working on the PH (see #4 below).
4. Installing new backup camera at third brake light area on PH, to replace one I previously installed in the license plate area (which is useless when I have the hitch-mount bike rack on).
5. Bought a Thetford Curve porta potty and made room for it in one of our rear cabinets (had to remove a shelf).
6. Getting broken plastic tabs on a few of our curtains replaced.

Still to do:

1. Install suspension air bags front and rear
2. Lots of other small things!

What did you do to your SMB today?

Took the van to the local mechanic to get the AC working again. It was out of refrigerant but the system held a vacuum. It now blows wonderfully cold air.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

I pulled speaker wires from the doors, as well as power from the house battery, to under the drivers seat. That, and previously run RCAs from the head unit, allowed me to wire up a small/cheap (though carefully selected) class d amp.

For the moment I screwed it to a small board that will keep it from sliding around, but I should really build an amp rack for under the seat.

Sound seems much improved. I've not tried it while driving around with the windows down yet, but the hope is that this will resolve the massive compression during transients as the power supply for the head unit amp begs for mercy.

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Black... Krylon Indoor Outdoor Satin Black. Claims it sticks to wicker and fabric, so I figured if anything will stick to wicker, I'd give it a shot. I did inside and out, took 16 cans. My fabdude, Ray, says the Flat Black has more pigment/solids in it and covers easier, but I like the Satin better. It is pretty great, no peeling etc, you can't scratch it off with your fingernail, though you can rub it enough to indicate wear, so your normal wear points will give a hint of prior color... mine just looks like a little dust is on it... very mild, you gotta be looking for it. Oddly, the inside won't show wear. Must not have any kind of waterproofing on the inside.

Two helpful hints: Scuff your fabric thoroughly with a dry brush and damp-cloth wipe it after.
I used a toothbrush-sized bronze brush well-lubricated with mineral oil to clean the paint out
of my zippers BEFORE operating them.

Here's another angle, sorry 'bout the goober in the foreground...
