[QUOTE=Oogs;308208]I'm considering adding some ArmaD locks to my doors. They look super stout and would add a level of deterrence. /QUOTE]
Those look like they would work well and are a much more sleek design than a puck lock setup but it’s hard to get past the price, especially if you want to do all the doors. Still, for some folks this could be a great option.

After considering a lot of different things for our rig, I decided on using ThunderBolt cargo locks (an electric dead bolt lock inside the door cavity) for the side and rear doors and European deadbolt locks from Expedition Outfitters/Total Composite for the front doors.
I’m really happy with both systems and how they work together.
I had an issue with the cable breaking inside the ThunderBolt lock at one point but customer service was amazing and the problem was tracked down to an early cable design that has been resolved now.
My concern with puck locks and the like is two fold - first, they actually advertise that there is items of value inside the van and second, they aren’t really hard to defeat.
Because you essentially can’t see the locks I’ve used, you would have to take some time to wrap you head around why you can’t get in the van and figure out how to defeat the locks. All, while the alarm is attracting attention and making the the whole thing really painful (the inside siren is deafening!).
It’s all about hardening and there is fifty ways to do it - this is just one and one I’m really happy with.

Do you have a link for the European front door locks? Searching doesn't seem come up with a supplier.....

I've had the Thunderbolt system on my list for some time, so I'm curious how you wired them - do they lock & unlock in tandem with your remote alarm system that controls the electric door locks? or did you utilize the Thunderbolt remote fob so it's separate from any other system?

They are controlled separately using the rigs aftermarket alarm.
Happy to share more if you’d like in DMs.

I've considered those hidden locks, my only concern is further damage should they try and pry a door open bc they can't get inside after defeating the OEM locks. As far as advertising stuff inside w an exterior lock like the ArmaD or any puck lock....a 4x4 high top SMB w bumpers, racks and ladders is enough of an attention getter so I would hope the extra locks would be more of a deterrent. Who knows, again it's about layered defense. I'm less worried about a smash and grab than someone actually making off w my rig completely.

As much as it sucks to have something stolen, I think I'd prefer a thief break a window than force open a door.

My Thunderbolt locks are tied in with my original locks and are actuated with my alarm fob. I too am interested in the European deadbolts for the front doors, though.

I just added the Cyclops relay system and it seems to work great. 5 min. install, no arming to remember, or the need to carrying around an additional plug. You just hit #1 on the small fob and turn the key. Anyone out there who has installed the Cyclops have any issues?
