I just SAVE them to my SM Album. Then open a seperate tab to the Forum and in one tab I open the pic I want to link to a post - URL will show up...I copy that URL and paste to the post I want to respond to under the other tab (using the photo attachment icon).
No doubt there are other methods, I'm just accustomed to doing it this way.

I save the picture from Photos to my desktop then use the "manage attachments" to select it from the desktop.

Don’t quick reply.

Click on reply, then scroll down to the “Additional Options” area and click on “Manage Attachments” under “Attach Files”.

Click on “Choose File”, select source, and click on the blue upload tab. You photo will appear like below.

Click "Go Advanced" and then "Manage Attachments". If you don't get a popup with "Choose File" buttons, you may have to make the site an exception to Safari's pop-up blocking.
