FYI for parking lot install you need to drill and punch out rear door hinge pins.....a little more work than just turning wrenches..

While not a huge fan of Aluminess, I have purchased from them multiple times. My experience has been to add two weeks to month to any expected ship dates.
That said, while this situation sucks, I don't see why Aluminess is at fault. The OP had specific scheduled date for the install of their product. They didn't miss the date, he did. They have rescheduled but that date doesn't fit into his schedule. I know it sucks, it wasn't his fault, it wasn't CCV's fault, why should it now be their fault. Is his install more important than the people that they already have scheduled for his new day of availability?
That said, if he can't find another shop to do the job, I would expect if he showed up on their door steps when opening, with a positive attitude that they may work out some way to get him in.

If the door hinge pin needs to be removed, I would see if the guys at CCV can pop that out and put a nut/bolt in before it leaves their shop. I remember mine was a major pain to get out. It would make the rest of the install much easier if someone is attempting to do it in a parking lot.

Hinge pins are a serious pain to remove, but an air chisel with a punch can make short work of them. Otherwise, any body shop should be able to do the install and there are dozens in SD.

I'm sure you're aware how CC's work but thought I'd make a suggestion anyway.........

Yep, If agreement was made that had a specific due date and installation date, and now they are saying they can’t do it at that time.

He was not able to make his original installation appointment. And all they would owe is the install fee. No credit card company would refund a deposit because no-showing to an appointment.

What would it cost to get Aluminess to ship things out to CCV for install?

No idea, but since I picked up my van from CCV this morning, it's a moot point.
