Re: New Member
it has definitely grown on me...
black and red is a good combo even if red isnt your first color choice...fairly easy combo to match add-on parts to.
i am happy that i got the version with the "work truck" black grill and light housings. i prefer that over the chrome, double light version the passenger vans seem to have...
my next project is to find the passenger/conversion van version of the interior door trim as well as the swing out windows...on both the side 60/40 doors and the rear doors..
i currently have the fixed glass in flush style...with the cargo van door trim

Re: New Member
Got van back from CCV.
Penthouse is the low profile while down.
Van penthouse up while hanging out at Sturgis SD Biker Rally.
Next, will be picking up van from Chris Steuber from UJoint. He is doing an excellent job. Among the things he is doing, he is doing the 8 inch lift and 37's on the rubber. Doing some upgrades to the brakes, engine/turbo, a good bit of clean up of CCV's work, getting the AC fixed, etc. Looking to pick it up from Chris on 09/14/12.

Re: 2005 Quigley E350
That thing is going to be mean looking with 37s and an 8 inch lift, cant wait to see it.
How do you like the top? I know some people hear are wanting to know more about the low roof CCV tops.

Re: 2005 Quigley E350
Honestly, the top is okay to a degree, but it does have a few issues. It is somewhat crudely made and has room for improvement. If you look from the front of the van toward the back (or vice versa), you will see that the lines (creases), of the top are simply not straight and are very imprecise. I spent a lot of money on the top and other things done by CCV and was very disappointed with their work.

Re: 2005 Quigley E350
Chris at UJoint has the work ethic I like. No crap about him. He enjoys what he does and doesn't fart around. Amazing the contrast you can get in this market.
New Brake Lines Installed.
New Wheels on.
Waiting on the axle. Should be on the ground today.

Sure, but Chris can't even put the 4x4 decal on correctly, it's reversed!
(Yes, I do know that the image itself is reversed).

Re: 2005 Quigley E350
Your van looks kind-of OK up on the lift without all the wheels on and the hood up.
I want to see pictures of it sitting on the ground all lifted and mean looking ready to roll.
Or better still, splash a little mud on it then take a few pictures for us.
Gonna be very sweet looking when it's done!
